425 Mixer Fuel Adjustment

Instructions on how to adjust the air fuel ratio on engines with a 425 mixer

After verifying proper fuel delivery and engine sizing, some 8.0L, 9.1L and 10.3L engines may still be experiencing symptoms of not being able to achieve desired engine speed (or pivot voltage) or lower manifold vacuum than expected. One possible reason for this issue could be insufficient fuel delivery to the engine due to an incorrect mixer adjustment. This document provides instructions on how to adjust the mixer properly.
